The reef action lights up this first week of July month with lots of bonitos, kingfish, barracuda and black fin tunas biting. We’re catching them fishing, the best technique of sport fishing during the summer months. The fishing is the best technique of dragging lures and rigged baits up and down the reefs and along the edge of the Gulf, stream to try to fish catch whatever we come across. The best technique in the summer months because the fish are all scattered over the reefs and moving around and takes some traveling and looking around for them to find them.
The action in the summer time is great. When you are angling, you will appreciate the little whirlwinds of activity on bonitos, kingfish, blackfin fishes and now and again a fish barracuda, wahoo or even sailfish bounced on your boat line. You never know what you might catch when you are fishing. We have caught dolphin, sailfish, blackfin tuna, and kingfish.
The dolphin has finally shown up in force. We have not caught any really big fish but with the lack of size come numbers. We have been catching anywhere from ten to thirty dolphin per trip. They are averaging about 5-7 lbs. We have been catching those fishing weed lines, live baiting under birds and on floating debris. Our
Fort Lauderdale Fishing Report on today; an awesome trip. They managed to catch a dozen Mahi under a floating piece of bamboo they also hooked up and caught a sailfish 10 miles offshore. The Sailfish species are usually caught at depths less than 300 ft so what a great surprise when a sailfish starting jumping.
We have not fished the edge too much as we have been busy offshore chasing mahimahi. The days we have stayed in close were due to the seas being too rough to venture offshore. We have done well in close. There have been plenty of kingfish and blackfin tuna and our visitors are very happy and enjoy the fishing.
Fort Lauderdale Fishing Report makes the fun atmosphere and a great way to teach kids how to fish. They had a blast catching snapper and grouper as well. If you have any special help children who would love to go fishing just give me a call. We generally stay close to shore in about 30ft of water. So if there are any issues, we can be back to the dock very quickly.
If you want to catch your first dolphin from now thru August should remain very good. Don’t forget yellowtail snapper fishing is also very good right now. Yellowtail snapper is caught year round, but from now thru August is usually prime time. June is almost booked solid but I do have dates open in July. Just give me a call or send me an email on what you are looking to catch.
Fishing always a joy to me. And the best moment is when you catch a big fish. But in the sea, you have to hire a Inshore Fishing Charter they can help you to fish. In deep-sea the fishing is a little bit tough that's why you need a fishing charter.
